Process

Each group will be allowed to use either an iPad or computer of your choosing. This will allow each of you to research some more information about your topic.

Here are some resources that you can use to help you search for more information about your topic.

1. https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/8_10/report/ - Ways to have fun and use the internet

2. https://www.ceop.police.uk/safety-centre/ - What can you do if something goes wrong when you are on the internet?

3. https://jr.brainpop.com/artsandtechnology/technology/internetsafety/ This is the same website I got that video that we watched earlier from! It has some great tips and activities for internet safety! It is a good website to visit and play with at home!

4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89eCHtFs0XM This is a 7 minute video, but a really cool video that a teacher from Indiana made about internet safety in his own school! This can maybe give you some useful tips to use!

5. http://www.kidscomjr.com/games/safety/safety.html This is a fun and interactive game you can use to get more information for your footprint!

Roles:

For this group project, each of you will be given a job to help the creation and organization process move quickly and smoothly. I will let you decide who does what, but each group MUST have one person per role in the group.

Leader: Helps with any person that needs help, this person is sort of like the “floater” and makes sure that everything is getting done efficiently and correctly.

Researcher: This person is in charge of using the ipad or computer to look at the links, and to find information to put on the footprint.

Artist: This person is in charge of drawing any pictures or coloring them in

Author: This person is in charge of writing out the ideas, and can help assist the artist. Together they must work together to make a beautiful piece of art that will be hung around the classroom.

Presenter: This person’s job is to present the information to the class. When it is done, they can add their footprint to the poster at the front of the classroom.
